Comments: The recent guilty plea by Marie Noe that she murdered her
eight children and the resulting lenient sentence of probation has sent me
surfing. I visit this site periodically. My angel, Dustin, died in 1982,

our precious son Alex died. He was our happy and healthy 4 1/2 month old
bouncing baby boy. His big brother Nicholas is almost 4 yrs old now and
Alex has a lil sister Jordyn Alexa who is now almost 4 1/2 months old.
Their are many similarities between Alex and Jordyn. We have been nervous
and apprehensive about the closeness of both of these dates. If you have
any suggestions or ideas about how you remembered the first anniversary of
the passing of your little angels, we would like to hear them. Please

prayers. Remember Jesus loves the little children and holds them dear to

Comments: Hi everyone. I just wanted to tell all of you that the
article that Woman's World Magazine did on our daughter Alauna's story is
out. It is in the June 29th 1999 issue of Woman's World that is sold at
the checkout stands at the stores. It is already out even though it is not
the 29th. Please remember that they are journalists and did not get all of
the facts straight but all in all it is a pretty good article. One thing I
really had a problem with is they said that the doctor in the hospital
told us that I did not roll on Alauna because I would have heard her cry.
And that she died of sids. That is not true. He said that there would be
external signs if I had rolled on her and that it LOOKED like a sids case
but without an autopsy they would not know. I wanted to make that clear so
that some parent's wouldnt think that they could make a diagnosis of sids
without an autopsy being done. One other thing is we did not put the kids
in daycare cuz I could not care for them it was so that I could get out |

I just lost my daughter December 6, 1998. She was only two months old. She

Comments: I had a nephew who died of SIDS in early 1991. I had just
discovered that I was pregnant. It was very hard to be of comfort to my
brother and sisiter in-law during this loss. All I could think about
was..." what is the use? Will this happen to me?" Thankfully, it
didn't... Some friends of the parents had a star named after Taylor..quite
fitting I think. He is truly in the heavens now. I am truly, truly sorry
for the losses. I am a nurse on a maternity ward in a small hospital in
Overland Park, Kansas... we do a lot of teaching about the subject. I did
hear about a study concerning the use of pacifiers and the reduction of
SIDS. Can't really say much about it though. Hope serious study continues
in this area... for Taylor's sake. |
