Comments: Every day I look at the guest book, I don't even know
what I am looking for anymore. Emma was 16 weeks old the day I got the
call from the babysitter to tell me she was gone. The little girl I waited
30 years for was gone. I dropped her off only three hours before. When
they told me it looked like SIDS, I knew it couldn't be, she didn't fall
into any of the risk factors, that I knew of. It wasn't until we got the
report back that I realized my daughter was put at risk, the babysitter
chose to place her on her stomach after bieng directed not to. She made
achoice that was not hers to make. I will never know if Emma would still
be here today if she was on her back. According to the medical examiner,
she would be. I love you Emma Kate. I miss you more every day. You are,
and always will be my #1. |

just after my daughter died (of SIDS)in September '96. I never signed it
then so I am now. Life certainlly has moved on, she now has another
brother and new sister, and her older brother and sister miss her. They
tell Buddy and Brandee all about her, after all she is still part of our
family. She will always have that place of our third born, for ever hers.

in my living room feeding my twins. It was the last day they were both
alive. 10-25-98. We had such a wonderful day. I miss you sooooo much
Cameron James and Chloe Taylor. I will never understand why you both left
but, I am so glad you are together. That is the only peace I have. I will
always remember that last day. Dressing you up and taking you to the mall.
The way Cameron couldn't take his eyes off of the carousel. Remebering how
well the doctor's visit went. you were both perfect. How you both sat next
to each other on the couch while daddy and I played peek-a-boo with you. I
will cherish that day forever. We buried Cameron and Chloe with carousels
so they could remember how wonderful that day was. I hope there are

Comments: We have had two SIDS deaths in our family. My daughter
Bridgette almost 18 years ago on December 23, 1981 and our son Nicomah at
5 weeks and 1 day. On March 9, 1999. He was one of a twin. His sister
spent two weeks in the hospital where it seemed like she was used as a
guiniepig. We still have no answers as to why they were not put on to
heart and respitory monitors, with a prior history. When she was released
she came home with a monitor. Why not five weeks earlier? My older two
boys are still asking when Nicci is coming home. They are five and four
years of age. |

my beautiful Dacota Reed was born. He was stillborn but I still sometimes
can't believe that he never lived a day outside of me. The whole situation
was a freak accident that to this day I still question, WAS THERE

just deal with it. I now have a beautiful daughter who just turned two on
August 14. I constantly worry that God is going to take her away from me
too. I also wonder if what happened to my son was a message from God and

everything is going to be alright because for one thing, it doesn't feel

Comments: Friday, August 6th, 1999 was Connor Carl Jacobson's first
birthday and he wasn't there to celebrate with us... we all gathered at
his mom and dad's house, (my cousin and his wife) to have cake and let
some balloons go. This was a very hard day, having to think about how cute
little Connor would have been with cake all over his face and playing with
all of his new presents... I was sooo attached to this little boy, as my
husband and I were expecting almost two yrs ago and I miscarried at 8 wks.
I thought alot of Connor, he was like my own baby and I miss him lots
every day!! Friday was sooo hard, but I am glad they celebrated and didn't
let the day go by without doing anything. I could imagine Connor in Heaven
catching (or trying to) all of the many balloons that were let go for him,
I bet he loved that!! I know he heard the beautiful poem his mom read and
his dad's words of love that he spoke about him. We all miss Connor and
have sooo many great and precious memories of the 3 1/2 months that he
spent with us. I don't want to die, but when I do, I will look forward to
seeing Connor again. I miss him sooo much!! Thank you, Connor Carl for
adding sooo much to our lives and for blessing us with your smile... we

Comments: I went here because of a school assignment and this site

Comments: On January 28, 1999 I lost my son Daniel at birth due to
placental abruption. He was a healthy baby but only lived minutes due to
his prematurity. I was 23 weeks pregnant when he was born. In June, 1999 I
lost my second pregnancy at 6 weeks. Along with the incredible pain of
losing both babies is the fear that I will never successfully have a
child. This site is a wonderful place to help parents greive. Thank you
for making information available to educate and offer possible prevention
