Selected RECALLS, ALERTS, and NEWS from CPSC
U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
Recalls from 1975 to the present are categorized by the topics below.
To quickly find something after you choose a category (for example, a product or a manufacturer), use the "Find" feature of your browser. For most browsers, this is done by clicking "Edit" in the upper left hand corner, and then "Find in page" or "Find on this page."
Within each topic, the most recent recalls are listed first. If a recall seems to fit in multiple categories, we try to put it in the most relevant one. For example, all children's products go in the children's category - thus; appliances, furniture or clothing products involving children would go in that category as opposed to the appliance, furniture or clothing categories. Another example: a lighting or furniture product would go in its respective category as opposed to the general Household Product category.
Lighting and lighter products
Products involved with the indoor environment (heating, air conditioning, air quality, etc.)
Electronics and electrical power devices
Outdoor products (not including sports)
