I miss you BECCAby Jean
Date: Tue, 16 Mar 1999 I miss you BECCA. I love you BECCA. I wish you were here BECCA. REBECCA "BECCA" CHRISTEN was born on a warm and sunny day in October. October 16 to be exact. She was so happy and full of life from day one. She smiled and played all day no matter what was going on around her. She went up from 8lbs-4oz to 11lbs 3oz before we knew it. Like daddy she was tall born at 20 inches and by two months was up to 24. She never gave us trouble. The only time I remember her being fussy without any reason was new years eve. She wouldn't eat, wasn't wet, didn't have anything wrong with her. We got her to quite down right about 11:45. The new years was rung in with her asleep in her swing. She was so perfect that I took a picture. I had no idea it would be the last one!!! O woke up to screams and cries, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I tried to wake her up but she was to far gone. I just rocked her and tried to wake her up. Praying as he ambulance pulled up for them to find a heart beat. Nothing!!! Oh God how could you do this to me?!!! I was doing my best and you take her away!!! She left the world on new years morning somewhere between 4 and5 a.m. She was in her daddy's arms. I thought it was safe!!! I now look at every day as my last because we never know when it will be true. Those 11 weeks with her and 9 months of carrying her taught me more about life and love than any one had ever before. Good night sweet angel sleep tight. Jean |
