Lost But Never Forgotten

by Misty Davis
in memory of Shelby Heath Davis 11/3/98 to 03/15/99

Date: Fri, 9 Jul 1999

Loosing a baby is the worst thing that can happen, in my opinion. I lost my 14-week-old to SIDS 5 months ago. The only thing that kept me together was my older child at 2 years. He just doesn't understand and I don't try to make him. The other night he told me to go to heaven and get his sibling for just a little bit. I cried for long time. Every thing was going okay until my sister had her baby(a little boy). My son's questions started over again. I love my nephew very much but I thank God he doesn't look like his sisters or the rest of the boys in the family. I believe it was God's way of helping us heal.
