Thy Gifts
I am very new to SIDS (my son died on 9/8/98), but someone gave me this
poem, and it comforts me every day (no author was on the index card my
friend gave me). You may wish to share this with other SIDS parents.
Sincerely, Janie French

Thy Gifts
I thank you, Lord, for the things you make,
The rain, a rose, a star snowflake,
The dark for me to listen in,
And silken hours when dreams begin.
I thank you for the springtime's birth,
the throbbing heart of Mother Earth,
and for the warm, sweet memory
of one small son you loaned to me.
