Though our time together was short
I couldn't have ever felt more love.
For gently nestled in your loving arms
It seemed I was in the clouds above.
Although we'll never walk hand in hand
You know I'm always by your side.
Because of the love and care you shared with me
The strength of a family never died.
Your kindness and generous spirit
Are the parts of me that still live.
For God thru you gave me eternal life
And who could ask any more to give.
You stand for all that's good and true.
Precious and blessed were the days we spent.
For when the Lord needed a special mom,
It was you to earth for me he sent.
So today on your special day,
Remember our cherished time together
And rejoice in life with our family,
For you'll always be my dearest mother.
