God Gives and God Takes

Please add our granddaughter to your list of beautiful angels that have passed on to be with God. Her name is Taylor (Taterbug) Lynn Norton. She was born April 6, 1998 and passed away of SIDS on May 21, 1998.

5 June 1998

We never had indications of any problems. She went to sleep the night of the 20th and failed to wake up again. I tried CPR and could not get her to breathe again. It has been so devastating on my family and myself to have such a beautiful doll laying there with nothing we could do for her. I guess I'm really glad she was with us when this happened and not with her parents. They are in their early twenties and this was their first child. It is going to take some time for all of us to get over this tragedy. I feel so much pain for the many families that have had the same thing happen to them. I've been reading SIDS information on SIDS Network Web page and have found it to be very helpful in better understanding what SIDS is.

Thanks so much for giving us access to a great organization.

Taylor's service. It has given us strength to look forward to the future so we
may see our beautiful baby again.

God Gives and God Takes

God gives and God takes
but God does all things well.
He took your darling "Taterbug"
to heaven with him to dwell.

He had a little angel band
that wasn't quite complete.
He took your Taylor Lynn
to fill a vacant seat.

So Dear Parents and Grandparents (and all)
don't grieve because she's gone.
But put your faith and trust in God
and meet her in her new home.
