When Will The Pain End?by Don Miltenburg Date: Fri, 09 Jun 2000 When will the pain end? I see his face in the clouds as I look to the sky He's looking way down and
he's starting to cry He cries and he screams - he wants to come home! I hear the sound of his voice in the wind in the trees I feel the touch of
his hand in the touch of the breeze. He 's all my hopes and dreams - his father's dreams as well He made our life
pure heaven; now it seems a living hell Our dreams, our hopes , our wishes, left
one early dawn. Now all that's left are memories, and the pictures that we'll save. When will the pain end? Written June 30, 1986 Still true today In memory of Alexander Ryan Miltenburg Happy Birthday Alex You'll always be my oldest, even if the rest of the world
forgets June is so hard. |
