It's been 81/2 months since SIDS entered into our home and
Claimed you sweet Angel, as one of it's own.
We'll say a silent prayer, and light a candle bright
Remembering the joy you brought us, one year ago tonight.

No gifts we could have bought you, balloons we could have strung,
Compare to the gifts you have given us, being able to call you son.
A brother for Liam, you brightened his days
You brought us all closer in so many ways.

As we celebrate your birthday, one gift we give to you
We'll share the love you taught us, help search for answers true
So other precious babies will have a chance to live
To celebrate 1st birthdays, and SIDS forever end.
