Mother to Jake 10-12-98 to 11-11-98

I lost my son Jake Cullen Rodgers on 11-11-98. He was 30 days old. I have kept anything that he may have used and always regretted that we had no video of him. When I had my son one of my friends sent flowers and while in the hospital I called her office and left a voice mail message thanking her for them. She happened to save the message. Now, 3 mos later, she was cleaning her old saved messages out and heard the message that I left. In the message you can hear Jake crying. In fact, the first 20 seconds is only him. She resaved the message and gave me the number and password so that I could call and hear it. It was both sad and wonderful to hear him. She told me that she would keep it on there for the rest of the time that she works there. I plan on trying to make a tape so that I will have it forever. I feel like it was a gift from God that she saved that message.
