We sat in anticipation
One Thanksgiving night,
Waiting for you and your sister
To come into sight.

Your hands were so little
Your feet, they were too,
But you were perfect little babies
So beautiful and so true.

With just one look at you
Everyone was in love,
We knew you had been sent
From someone special up above.

We only had you for 6 weeks
But your memory will always live on,
In our hearts forever
Even though you may be gone.

Every time we look at Destiny
We'll see your beautiful face,
Just bear in mind my precious niece
She'll never take your place.

May God love and protect you
For all the days to come,
Just like your mom and dad did
Before God came and took you home.
