Sister

In memory of Meg Mihalko

I was 5 years old, when my sister died of SIDS. If anyone else wants to talk about their brother or sister dying of SIDS, please e-mail me.

I drew this picture of Meg in Heaven with Grandma and Grandpa. They were smiling because they were happy to be in Heaven, but they were crying because they missed us. There is a candy store there. The two mice Daddy killed last year in the garage are there too!

There once was a young boy
Who had a baby doll toy.

He wished and wished some more
For a sister and a whole lot more.

And when she came he was happy
And one night when she took a nappy,

She died that very night.
He had an inner fight.

But when he thought of happy thought
Then he was winning the war he fought.

And do you know who that be?
He is no other than me.
