This is for the people that can't have more children. I had my tubes
tied the day Zach was born. We only wanted 2 children. After he died, it
tore me up so bad!!! I wish I never had them tied now. I looked into a
reversal, and even Invetro Fertilization, but they were so expensive!!!
Also not guaranteed to go through right. We were about to give up. We
thought about adoption, but heard you have to wait so long. Then we heard
of an acquaintance we knew that was pregnant with her 4th child, and was
going to put him up for adoption. We called her, and after a few weeks of
thinking, she called us back and asked if we still wanted it. Of course we
did!!!! It still cost a little money, but so would having our own! And we
didn't have to worry about if it would work or not, cuz she was already
pregnant!! So now we have Joey! We still have to wait till Sept. 20th for
the final adoption to go through, but he's with us right now. In South
Dakota, the biological parents have 30 days after they signed over their
parental rights to get the child back. Well, April 20th was the last day!!
I have a good feeling he's ours to keep now!!! The real mother feels real
good with us having him. She knows we love him, and will take great care
I just don't want the ones that can't have more children to think that
there is nothing else left. I use to cry whenever I read a post of a new
pregnancy or birth. It's not the end. Look at us, we have another child to
show all this love too now. Don't give up!!!
