Grandparents Web Site

On December 1, 1997, our 3 year old granddaughter died suddenly. Since that time I have been searching for some way to deal with this overwhelming loss. I've discovered that there are no books or support groups that specifically deal with a grandparent's loss. I did speak with a representative of our local Compassionate Friends group, but it seemed that the vast majority of attendees are grieving parents. I think grandparents have somewhat different needs. I have contacted another grieving grandmother and we have been keeping in touch by email. I think we both find this extremely helpful. We both feel terrible isolated and believe that there should be some way that grieving grandparents could communicate and help each other.
