The SIDS Alliance of the Carolinas The SIDS Alliance of the Carolinas, an affiliate of the national SIDS Alliance is dedicated to supporting those who have lost children to SIDS and to educate parents, health care professionals, child caregivers, and the public at large about the ways to 'reduce the risk' of SIDS. Jacksonville, NC. It's called Empty Arms, and it's a group for anyone who has lost a child. The group right now is a mix of people who have lost babies to SIDS, stillbirth and miscarriages. The contact person is Jean Hislop, phone (910) 347-2154. The group meets the second Tuesday of each month. |
