Request from Parent's Magazine to SIDS/SUID Families

Hello,
My name is Kara Corridan and I’m the health director here at Parents. We’re running an article about SIDS/SUID in an upcoming issue and in planning for the design of the story, one idea we’re considering is to make a powerful statement by showing many photos of babies who have died in the past year, possibly two. In order to do that, we’re hoping that organizations such as yours will reach out to its membership and ask affected parents if they’re willing to share a photo of their baby with us for possible inclusion in our story.
If you’re able to help us in that way, this is what we need:
A color image of the child only (closeups preferred) that’s at least 3MB in size. Ideally the photo won’t be compressed or made smaller (as you can do on an iPhone).
The child’s full name and hometown, date of birth, and date of death
Contact info for the parent(s)
It can all be emailed directly to my colleague Alyse Dufour at Alyse.Dufour@meredith.com. Our deadline is July 29. We understand this is a difficult request; we are very appreciative of every parent who submits a picture and will follow up with everyone whose child is included in the story so that they know the photo is being published.
